Tenneco

Tenneco is a Fortune 500 company, being one of the world's leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of automotive products for original equipment and aftermarket customers. There are approximately 71,000 team members working at more than 260 sites worldwide. As a graphic design intern, I work under Tenneco’s global communications department primarily producing internal graphics for the company’s many branches. It is a huge privilege to work alongside such a hardworking group of people that are at the head of the automotive industry. I get to see first hand the influence Tenneco has internationally, making incredible advancements in automotive technology. Being able to create work that is seen from China to Brazil is completely mind blowing to me and I am so grateful for this opportunity.

Oakland University Career Services

My experience as the graphic design intern for Career Services has been extremely beneficial for me to grow my skills in a professional setting. Below are graphics packages I created for some of the events I was assigned to. A lot of these events were never done before or required brand new designs. Although there were sometimes restrictions with certain design elements such as university branding and ADA compliancy, I was often given creative freedom to choose a professional yet creative style of my own. For every event, I created several layout versions including posters, building banners, A-frames, social media posts, note pads, and table tents. Seeing my designs displayed around campus in public was such an amazing feeling and I loved making a difference at my school.
