DIGITAL DESIGNS & CAMPAIGNS

Website Revamp

Project

Role

Contributing Designer supporting web design, visual systems, content templates, and social strategy. Primary hands-on focus included sourcing corporate photography and stock imagery, implementing and managing visual content in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), and producing a teaser trailer using Adobe After Effects.

The existing website was outdated and misaligned with the company’s evolving brand, limiting its effectiveness as a recruiting and culture tool. Inconsistent visuals and messaging made it difficult to tell a cohesive story to potential candidates and stakeholders.

The Solution

In collaboration with an agency partner, we refined a visual system and content templates aligned with brand guidelines to support consistent use across the website.

Visual System

To validate the user experience prior to launch, our team conducted a small user experience test with individuals outside of Tenneco's employee base. Participants were asked to complete key tasks and provide feedback on navigation, clarity, and overall usability. Insights gathered during testing informed final refinements before the site went live.

Following the completion of the website redesign, our team developed a phased launch strategy to build awareness and drive traffic to the new experience. The rollout included teaser content, static social media assets, and a final launch video announcing the redesigned site across channels.

Safety incidents historically increase during the summer months as vacation schedules, staffing changes, and routine disruptions can lead to distractions and lapses in established procedures. The campaign needed to reinforce awareness of critical safety protocols—particularly around hand injury prevention—while fostering a proactive reporting culture. A key challenge was securing site-level buy-in and encouraging employees to report unsafe behaviors and near misses as opportunities for prevention and continuous improvement before incidents occur.
